The contract of adaptation and professional integration enables the jobseeker who is not graduate to acquire professional skills that meet a job offer made by a private enterprise and which was not fulfilled due to the unavailability of necessary workforce in the labour market.
The enterprise can benefit from the contracts of adaptation and professional integration as individual or within the framework of agreements with technical centers, professional federations as well as the Chambers of commerce, professional bodies and associations.
The national agency for employment and self-employment, in accordance with a specific training programme agreed upon with the enterprise concerned or with another organisation mentioned above, bears the cost of the training during the contract within the limits of 400 hours.
The specific training programme is carried out within the hosting enterprise or within a private or public training organization.
The contract of adaptation and professional integration is concluded between the hosting enterprise and the trainee for just one year.
The national agency for employment and self-employment grants the trainee a monthly allowance of eighty dinars.
In addition, the enterprise must grant the trainee an additional monthly allowance of at least fifty dinars during the whole term of the contract.
The hosting enterprise undertakes to hire the beneficiaries of contracts of adaptation and professional integration who have concluded the training.
The enterprise that did not hire the trainees can claim for new contracts of adaptation and professional integration only after the lapse of at least two consecutive years after the end date the last contract it has benefited from.
The benefit of this programme is subject to the prior registration of the beneficiary in the office of employment and self-employment and also at the conclusion of a contract of adaptation and professional integration.
