The internship of initiation to professional life


 
The internship of initiation to professional life aims to help the beneficiary to acquire professional skills so as to facilitate his integration into working life.

First time job seekers can get this contract and who must be Tunisian graduates since 6 months at least.

The internships of initiation to professional life can take place within private enterprises.

However, these internships of initiation can also take place within public sector. The conditions and modalities of organization are fixed according to a decree.

The term of this contract cannot exceed one year.

However, the minister of employment may exceptionally extend the term of internship for not more than six month within the same enterprise, or approve a second internship within another enterprise.

The overall term of the internship of initiation to professional life can in no case exceed eighteen months.

The national agency for employment and self-employment grants the trainee a monthly allowance of one hundred and fifty dinars during the term of the contract.

In addition, the enterprise must grant the trainee an additional monthly allowance of at least one hundred and fifty dinars during the term of the contract.

The trainees who benefit from internship of initiation to professional life can be admitted to have additional training courses during the term of internship in agreement with the enterprise.

The national agency for employment and self-employment organizes additional training sessions within the enterprise or within public or private institution of training. This latter bears the cost of this training within 200 hours of training.

The enterprise can host back the trainees within internship of initiation to professional life only if it has already recruited 50% of all the trainees who completed their internships during the last three years preceding the year of the deposit of the new application.

The advantage of this programme is subject to a prior registration of the beneficiary in the office of employment and self employment and to the conclusion for that purpose of a contract of internship of initiation to professional life.
